İSTANBUL CARPET WEEK BUYING MISSION 2020

In 2020, Carpet Week was held virtually for the first time due to the pandemic. During the three-day event, live-streamed conferences reached carpet enthusiasts from around the world, particularly from Europe and the USA. That year, over 250 buyers from countries including the USA, Canada, Russia, Chile, and Italy participated, and online B2B meetings were conducted. Buyers who reviewed the exporters’ products through the platform expressed satisfaction with the meetings conducted via video conference or email. The 24 participating companies, which had the opportunity to showcase their products to the world digitally, gained a significant opportunity in global trade, which had contracted due to the pandemic.
