The final of the 15th National Carpet Design Competition and the “Stars of Carpet Export” Award Ceremony, organized by the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB), took place on April 14, 2022, at the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel.
The excitement of the final was experienced at the 15th National Carpet Design Competition, organized this year by the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB). The eight designers who reached the final exhibited their designs transformed into actual products, and the winner of the competition was announced. Following the final ceremony on April 14, the “Stars of Carpet Export” Award Ceremony was held, honoring the successful carpet exporters of 2021. The event was hosted by İHİB’s former Chairman Uğur Uysal and Ahmet Hayri Diler, elected as İHİB Chairman at the General Assembly on April 21. The ceremony, attended by Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Mahmut Gürcan and TİM President İsmail Gülle, also included İTHİB Chairman Ahmet Öksüz and İDMİB Chairman Güven Karaca.
